Coming soon

I plan to post a number of reviews in the next few weeks, including:

Airpanel 100

The iPad announcement inspired me to pull this out of the closet. It's a 10" tablet running WinCE. It's 7 years old, weighs ~3lbs, and I love it dearly.

SmartQ 7

This is a 7" Linux tablet released last year. It's nice as an MID, and with FBReader it's a pretty decent ebook reader.

Hanvon N516

My replacement arrived today. I'm still not impressed with it as an ebook reader, but I'm going to try Open Inkpot and see if that improves it any.

iPod Touch

I've installed at least a dozen ebook readers on my iThing; most aren't any good. I'm going to briefly cover each one in a review.

B&N Nook

I have a Nook coming next week. Yes, I know it's been out for a while, but I don't like being on a waiting list.

About Nate Hoffelder (11466 Articles)
Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
