Interesting video on differences between touch screen tech

A whole slew of ereaders with touchscreens are coming out in the next few months, and they're using a variety of technologies. I've been wanting to write a post about the differences, and today I came across a video that demonstrates the difference between capacitive and resistive touch screens.

While writing this post, I went looking for more information and found this Wikipedia article. I discovered that I am way out of my depth. I've encountered 4 of the screen types, which is not enough to write about all of them. If I did, someone would point out the mistakes.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
