Kindle Reader app Coming to Android

Engadget has  a leaked flyer for the Dell Mini 5 that suggests it will be getting Kindle app. Guess what: the Mini 5 runs Android OS. If this flyer is for real, then this means Amazon is about to release a Kindle app for Android.

I'd say the flyer looks legit, but don't get too exited. RCA had an ereader at CES, and the display it sat on hyped the fact that it used the B&N store. That display was printed weeks before CES, and the contract was signed the night before CES. This flyer could have been made in the hopes that the deal will happen.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
