Coming soon from TDR

I'm having trouble uploading videos to Youtube, so I thought I'd let you know what demos you're waiting on.

I found a company called Sideways. They make ebooks as apps, and they also make a rather neat social media app so fans can follow their favorite author.

Zhuhai Sanmu is a Chinese company that has a talking book device. It reads scan codes on a page, and plays the sound file associated with that code. I now, it's not new or related to ebooks, but I thought it was interesting.

I'm about to go back to the Hanvon booth and reshoot a hands on video.

That didn't work out, but I did get a brief demo of the new Guinness World Records iPad app.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
