E-ink Corp revenues down in June

Digitimes are reporting that E-ink saw a drop in income in May, but I'm confused by their numbers. They say revenues were down, but they quoted a higher number.

Small- to medium-size TFT-LCD panel and electrophoretic display (EPD) maker E Ink Holding, previously known as Prime View International (PVI), has posted consolidated revenues of NT$1.7 billion (US$53.04 million) for June, down 3% sequentially but up 4% on year.

Assuming that the title is correct, then E-ink saw their revenues peak back in November 2009. I wonder how many device manufacturers canceled in anticipation of the iPad? Of course, it could just be the recession.

P.S. You should click through and look at the chart. It will show the peak in November.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
