GlobusBook 750 coming to Russia

GlobusBook are a Russia based tech start up and they just announced their first ereader. The GlobusBook 750 is based on a 532MHz Freescale CPU and it has a 6" E-ink screen, Wacom touch screen, Wifi, and broad ebook format support including Adobe DE DRM.

Would you be surprised if I said that I recognized this ereader? I know it looks rather strange, but this ereader was designed by Onyx. I saw a pre-production model at BEA. I would bet that the this ereader will perform as well as their other ereader, the Onyx Boox.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
