Cybook Orizon officially unveiled

Bookeen just revealed the new Cybook Orizon. Apparently I was wrong and the model from CES 2010 was not replaced.  I don't have all the details yet, but I do know that it has a 6" touchscreen and Wifi. There's no word yet on price or availability. From past coverage, I know that it's supposed to have 2GB Flash, Bluetooth, and the screen is supposed to be multi touch.

The release date hasn't been mentioned, but I'd say the Orizon is probably on track to be released in September. Let's see how many of the specs have changed since this first showed up at CES 2010.

BTW, I looked through my past coverage of the Orizon and I discovered that we saw this  model nearly 3 months ago.  I even found a Youtube video.

Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
