Sharp announced a new reading app for Andriod – millmo for SH

Sharp announced this new app on their home page, but I'll be honest with you. I'm not sure what it does. It appears to be a multipurpose book, video, and audio player, and it runs on Android v1.6. I wonder if it might support Sharp's XMDF format. That would make sense.

This is one of those cases where translation software can only do so much. Context is the kning here, and  don't have it.

Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."

  1. The app is made by company named Millmo. It seems they had this app released before for various devices and it looks like they use a custom in-app store. I guess it might be XMDF (doesn’t look like it is) but with no way to load your own content it doesn’t really matter.
