Hanvon to sell N620 e-reader in Taiwan

Over the weekend Hanvon announced the first ereader that they will be selling in Taiwan.  This particular N620 model is one I haven't seen before, but from what I can tell it is based on a 6" Eink screen, and it has Wifi and a Wacom touchscreen.

The N620 will be sold through Xander International retail chain with a list price of 12,000 NTD (~$380). The N620 will have access to an ebookstore with 2,000 titles written in the more complicated Chinese characters used in Taiwan (mainland China uses simpler characters).

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
