Feedbooks ebookstore now open

I've been wanting to see this for the longest time. I like Feedbooks as a source fo free ebooks, and now I'm pleased to announce that Feedbooks have taken the next step. They were are a good place to distribute a free ebook; now you can sell that ebook.

It hasn't been announced yet, and I'm not even sure that it's officially open. But the page is up and you can try it out. (The only books available are in French.)

Right now I'm waiting to hear back from on the revenue split and terms of sale. One thing I can tell you is that the ebooks will probably be DRM free and it looks like you can only pay by credit card at the moment.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
