Update: eBook Devices Cheat Sheet – A librarian reference tool

Overdrive have just posted an updated version of the cheat sheet I showed you a couple months ago. This one is slightly more complete than before. So why do they need a cheat sheet? I'll let Overdrive explain:

We have also heard it’s often difficult to direct a patron to the appropriate webpage when at the circulation or information desk. In addition to the continually updated Device Resource Center online, we have put together an eBook Devices Cheat Sheet (PDF) that you can print out and make available to staff inside your library. This handy reference tool will empower any library staff member to provide patrons with information on compatible eBook readers.

They're also directing users to OverDrive Device Resource Center, a webpage that's supposed to have more complete information. Well, it isn't more complete than the PDF. Would the folks at Overdrive like my help? I could probably name all the missing devices off the top of my head.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
