Nexx Digital to expand e-reader line up

Nexx Digital have just added a 5" and 7" LCD ereaders to their stable.  You might recognize the hardware; these 2 models are carried in the UK  by Elonex, and the 7" model can also be found in the USA (though it's not on the market yet). Aside from the screen, the 2 ereaders have similar specs. Neither device has Wifi or a touchscreen, but they do have 2GB Flash, a SD card slot, an accelerometer, and a headphone jack. Here are the specs:

  • screen resolution of 800 × 480;
  • Supported formats:
  • text - EPUB, PDF, TXT, FB2, PDB, HTML;
  • video - wmv, flv, rm / rmvb, mov, avi, mpeg 1, mpeg 2, mpeg 4, xvid, divx, mkv, h.263,
  • HD 1080p h.264, up to HD 1080p
  • Audio - MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, OGG;
  • Memory: 2 GB internal memory, external - support for microSD cards up to 16 GB;
  • G-sensor (automatic screen rotation to 90 º)
