Woozoo Win7 tablet clears the FCC

Now this is a change of pace, isn't it? This is an 8" tablet running on a 1.6GHz Atom CPU with 1GB RAM, a 32GB SSD, mike, camera, headphone jack, microSD card slot, sim card slot, and USB Host. The wireless isn't mentioned, but I'm betting it can have some type of 3G connection is built in. Unlike most of the tablets that appear on this blog, this one appears to be designed as a desktop replacement. It has a mini PCIE slot, and both the RAM and SSD are removable. It should be possible to upgrade this to a more powerful tablet.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
