Creative Ziio 10″ Android tablet clears the FCC

A few weeks ago I showed you Creative's new 7" Android tablet as it cleared the FCC. Guess what? The 10" ZiiO tablet showed up on the FCC website yesterday. This beauty is due to ship in the European market  sometime in late December. But there's still no word yet on when it will be sold in the US.

It's running Android v2.1 on a 10" LCD screen (1024 x 600) with Wifi, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot, camera, speaker, and a microphone. It probably also has some pretty spectacular media capabilities. I haven't seen one myself, but this is Creative we're talking about here. They set the standard.

  1. I’ve always been a big fan of Creative. It’s too bad they are missing out on the shopping season with this one in the US. Same with Archos, they did get their new tablets out about a month ago though. Maybe they could partner up and go after Apple together.
