Kinstant Offers a Custom Homepage for the Kindle’s Web Browser

A few months ago I showed you a website called Kinstant that worked as a Kindle home page. At the time I wasn't all that impressed with the page becuase I wanted more customization. The previous version had too many links cluttering up the page.

The Kinstant developers have listened to my feedback, and they've added a number of new features.  The new page now starts with fewer links in order to give you room to add your own. Most of the links that were on the homepage got moved to related pages  (news, tech, sports, etc) so they're just 1 click away.

This is a big improvement.

Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
