Amazon K3 now available at Best Buy and Carphone Warehouse

Amazon's latest generation ereader can now be had through a couple new chains in the UK. At least, that's the story everyone is reporting, but I haven't actually found the Kindle listed on the Carphone Warehouse website.

But I did find it on the Best Buy UK site, where it's being sold for £111. That's in store only, which suggests that they might also have a display model you can play with. Curiously enough, you can find it on for the exact same price.

Gordon Willoughby, European Director of Kindle said, “We are pleased to be working with The Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy to offer the Kindle devices in store. The reach and appeal of both these first in class retailers combined with the excellent level of personalized service provided by its people gives customers a great new place to discover Kindle and Kindle 3G.”

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
