I've been playing with this new website for the past few days and it's a lot of fun. I'm not sure what it's good for, but it is fun.

TelescopicTexts.org is kinda hard to explain, so I think I'll send you over to the demo.  Click on the word in the gray square and see what happens. After you've played with the demo, try making your own.

I don't see that the site has any practical value, but I can see how it might grow into an art form. It feels like with a little skill, this could be regarded as a form of poetry.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."

  1. Interesting. It would be more interesting, however, if they gave some explanation on their website as to why they created this tool
