Flexphone is your phone, tablet, and handheld rolled into one device

Piotr of Password Incorrect found an interesting video today. Someone's come up with a new concept smartphone that has multiple screen size possibilities. The picture above shows the 3 options this flexphone would have. I assembled it from several screen shots from the video. This phone is just a concept, but it strikes me as having the same idea as the Polymer Vision Readius I showed you about a month ago. I only had the single render to show you at the time and I'm glad this video came along. It shows a few of the ways you could use a smartphone with an expandable screen.

Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
