How to sell content from inside a book (video)

Did you know that you embed links inside an ebook and use them to get readers to buy more stuff?I hope you did; this is a well developed promotion tool. If you've been making or selling ebooks for any length of time then you should think about how you could do something similar.

For example, if an ebook has a related titles page listing works by the author, all the names coould link to an ebookstore where the customer can buy them.

I came across this demo video yesterday on eBookNewser, and while the tricks it shows are old I thought  it worth repeating. The visual aspect of the demo conveys the idea better than a mere text description.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
