Ellora’s Cave to launch new e-reader in September

Ellora's Cave, the romance and erotica publisher, are planning to debut a new ebook reader at their convention this fall.

They won't release any details on price or specs,  but I did get confirmation that the ereader would launch at Romanticon 2011, which will be held in Akron, Ohio, at the end if September. It's going to be a limited edition release, and it will come stocked with a selection of  titles published by Ellora's Cave.

At this point, I'm not even sure it will look like the 7" ebook reader pictured at right. We'll have to wait for the convention to find out more.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
