FBReader updated, PE hack, and other interesting posts

For the past couple weeks I've been posting some of my articles over on Appazonia, my Android app blog. Every Monday I'm going to do a round up post over here at TDR for important ebook related posts. For example, a new version of FBReader was released over the weekend. It adds support for Android v3.0 (Honeycomb). There's also a new hack for the Entourage PE that copies the contents from the LCD screen to the E-ink screen.

P.S. I'm going to be using Appazonia to explore new posting ideas. It's going to stay a niche Android app blog, and the tight focus should stretch my abilities by making me work at finding something to write.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
