First look at the new Kyobo eReader w\ Mirasol screen

The world’s first Mirasol ereader was launched earlier this week, and today i can finally bring you an independent first look.

Mike Cane found this video on Youtube.  This is the very first video of the Kyobo eReader that wasn’t shot by Kyobo, so it’s definitely worth watching. The video was shot at the launch event or at an in-store display, so we unfortunately cannot see how it behaves in sunlight. But I am pleased with the general responsiveness. It looks to be a zippy little ereader.

I wondered if anyone else would notice that. I didn’t grab a screensnap of that in my own post. Besides, it was being used indoors, not in a park.

retroilluminated? that’s a tablet, to kiil your eyes, not an e-book.
