Kobo for iPad Updated

mzl.qqgxhech.480x480-75[1] Kobo rolled out a new update today for their iPad and iPhone apps.

Along with the usual bug fixes and stability improvements, the app offers readers the ability to rate and review ebooks in their libraries. This update also restores the ability in the iPhone app to lock the screen in landscape orientation, a feature which could be particularly useful of you like the widescreen look.

Readers will also reportedly see performance improvements for illustrated ebooks as well as redesigned book stats, overview, and other menu pages.

You can find the app in iTunes.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
