Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."

    1. I just returned a $149 Nook HD+: Loved: -price -display -‘feel’ (thin, texture)
Disliked: -file management ( my Thrive 16gb 10.1(1st gen) and Samsung tab 2 10.1 much easier
To use) -lack of camera(s) (Thrive rear camera takes very good pics to e-mail/Facebook post) -Bluetooth problems: did not recognize devices right next to it but did ones in next room/no obvious way to ‘accept’ incoming file, or send outgoing – ‘ice cream’ android: could find no Nook intention to upgrade to Jelly bean
-device heat build-up around hole in frame area
I’m waiting on the Samsung tab 3 10.1 to be available 7/7, actual hands-on reviews, $399 price to drop to what I think, for the specs, a ‘fair’ price of $299 – $329.
