What Apple Should Have Announced Yesterday (video)

Appleshut-up-and-take-my-money[1]  announced a couple breathtaking new iPads yesterday, and like clockwork today we have the comedians making fun of Apple. This time around it's Jimmy Kimmel. The latest skit for his late night show parodies the iPad Mini launch event and hits a little too close to home.

In this clip the Steve Case look alike interrupts his spiel about the new iPad Mini's technical specs with the admission that none of the detail matter; it's a new iPad and You're going to buy one. He asks audience members to simply throw money on the stage.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
