The Morning Coffee – 29 December 2014

Must read stories this Monday morning include a listicle from Bob Mayer, a critique of one publisher's disdain for ebooks (merely the text and not the book), a call for ebook bundles, and more.

P.S. Are you going to DBW the week after next? If so, I'd like to meet.

About Nate Hoffelder (11223 Articles)
Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."

Trying to end on a positive note this year so I have nothing to say about most of these stories, Nate.

  2. I note that Bob Meyer, aka Robert Doherty, is a if not the creative person behind CBS’s program Elementary, which is one of my favorite shows for its clever writing and acting. So were I an author, I’m sure I’d find his advice to be golden.
