Infographic: Summer Reading Habits

Goodreads summer readingWith summer almost gone (in the northern hemisphere, anyway) there's not much time left to meet our summer reading goals. And as you can see from the following infographic, some Goodreads members have set high goals.

A few weeks back Goodreads conducted a poll to learn more about its members’ summer reading habits. According to Goodreads' blog post, more than 95,000 votes were submitted, including about 9% from crazy people who planned to take  hardback books on a vacation (ebooks all the way, baby).

About Nate Hoffelder (11471 Articles)
Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."

  1. “How many books do you bring on vacation?”: Well, I bring my tablet, with hundreds on it, plus one paper book as emergency backup.
