The retailer is now offering a free paperback or hardback book with the purchase of a $119 Kindle Paperwhite (the other models, including ones without ads, are not included in this offer). The special offer is hemmed in on all sides by restrictions, and Amazon also makes it rather difficult to take them up on the offer.
I first heard of this a couple days ago from Teleread, but passed on the story because I couldn't find any qualifying books. But then I found a KBoards thread where someone shared the text of the offer and I used that to find a handful of listings where the book was eligible (one, two, three, four).
They look something like this:
As you can see if you click through one of the links, Amazon will give you either a free paperback or hardback book, plus a $10 credit, with the purchase of a Kindle Paperwhite. Both items have to be purchased at the same time, and you have to stumble upon one of the eligible books by accident.
Amazon is not making this offer on all titles, and they're not listing the eligible titles in a single list.
That's a strange way to run a bundle, isn't it?
