New 7" Chinese WinCE tablet clears FCC e-Reading Hardware

So I found another 7" tablet on the FCC website the other day.  This one could be good.

When I look at a tablet, I judge it based on how close it comes to replacing my desktop (don't laugh). Now this tablet is tempting. It has a 7" LCD screen at 480x800, Wifi, SD card slot, USB Host, HDMI out, a mike jack, speakers, and runs WinCE. From these details I know that it can support an external keyboard and it comes with Wordpad. There is a fair amount of light office work and light browsing I could do on this tablet.

Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
