Explay TXT.Book.B67 coming to Russia

The Russian consumer electronics company Explay  have just announced a new ereader. The TXT.Book.B67 is based on a 6″ E-ink screen. It ships with 4GB Flash, a SD card slot, touchscreen, accelerometer, FM radio, and a speaker. Ebook format support includesEpub, PDF, txt. html, RTF, and Mobi. The product page also boasts of a drawing app, on screen keyboard, and a MP3 player.

Yes, I know what the product photo shows.  It is laughable, yes.

I don’t know yet who designed this ereader, but I suspect this is a Rockchip design. It’s certainly running on their CPU, and Rockchip are often active partners in device designs.
