Hadrien just announced the expansion of the Feedbooks Store on his blog. The 2 month old ebookstore sells ebooks from self-published authors along with eBooks from “non-agency” publishers (such as Random House for example). Today, Hadrien added three new “agency” publishers to the mix: Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster & Penguin, with more to com in the near future.
The Feedbooks Store is currently selling ebooks in French and English, and there's a curious difference between the 2. The English language ebooks usually have DRM, and the French ebooks are actually either DRM-free or watermarked, which should provide a very interesting dynamic to follow compared to the US market. It's also great news for ebooks lovers in France.
