Sony had 2 new flexible displays at SID Display Week
Sony had a second flexible screen on display in their booth last week. Curiously enough, this one is not in color. But it is the same 13″ size and 1600×1200 resolution as before.
This is a black and white E-ink screen driven by a TFT backpanel. It can be bent into a 5cm fold (but not creased). Click on the image for a larger size.
I wonder if that screen actually functions. Tech-On! has 4 photos showing the screen but the image doesn’t change.
