The Australian tech retailer Kogan have just unveiled their first laptop running ChromeOS. You're not going to want it; it's an off-brand model with specs that are at least a couple years out of date.
The Agora 12 is running on a 1.3GHz Celeron-M CPU, with 1GB RAM, 30GB SSD, Wifi, Bluetooth, and as you can see it has a decent set of ports. Battery life is a measly 3.5 hours, and it's retailing for $349 AUD.
I'm sorry, but this laptop is junk. The design is so old that it's not even using an Atom CPU. What dark recesses of a warehouse did they pull these out of before slapping ChromeOS on them?
The sad part is, we're going to see more like this. It looks like Chrome laptops are going to replace Android tablets as the hot tech fad. Bleh.
