New Cheap e-reader coming to Russia

I’ve just come across what I suspect is another Rockchip ereader. The Mr.Book Active is based on the standard 7″ LCD screen, and it has 4GB Flash sotrage, a microSD card slot, FM radio, speakers, microphone, but no touch screen or Wifi.

The general boring design plus the broad audio, video, and ebook format support is why i think this is a Rockchip design. Retail will be 2,990 rubles (~$107 USD).

This device illustrates one of the differences between the US and Russian tech markets. You wouldn’t see a FM tuner built in to a US ereader, but they seem to fairly common in Russia.

I was gifted one (very similar) and from rockchip, that will not work. Thought you may like to know. It came from Dino Direct and they do not reply.
