JSMad is a Javascript based MP3 decoder

Today I came across a neat little MP3 player app which is based in Javascript.

JSMad is a Javascript library that well let you embed a bit of code in a webpage and play an embedded MP3. It doesn’t work in all browsers, but it is rather cool.

The source code is also available, in case you want to customize it for a particular purpose. I’ve forwarded a link to the developers of the Baker and Laker frameworks just in case they could use it in their ebook app frameworks.
