I just came across this tablet, and I have to say the basic black shape appeals to me (I like bricks).

The weight is around 1.9 lbs, so this does sound like it will be a brick. I bet this is supposed to be a laptop replacement tablet. The specs are certainly high enough. Presales are starting now at Newegg and Amazon, for a reasonable MSRP of $599.
If the battery life holds up (say, 6 honest hours) this could be useful.
I would prefer a pen-friendly digitizer, but I’ll keep an eye out for it.
Main concern is the AMD CPU, those things tend to run hot. I know the new ones are supposed to be better but…
