First Look at the new Onyx Boox i62 (video)

Earlier this week I was the first to find Onyx’s new ebook reader, the i62. I’ve now heard that Onyx are just now working the bugs out if the prototype. There’s still no word yet on the release date.

The following video shows the i62 mounted in the case used by the Boox A60. That’s not what the i62 will look like when it ships, but this unit does have all the right components, including the IR touchscreen.

One major difference between the 2 models (and why I’m looking forward to the i62) is that the older ereader has a Wacom touchscreen, and it requires a stylus. As you can from the video, the i62 is fingertip friendly.
