KDP Select Payments Increase Again as Kindle Owners Borrow Fewer eBooks

Amazon has sent out a press release today touting the success of the Kindle Owners Lending Library. A little under 300 thousand titles were loaned to Kindle owners last month, with author’s getting an average of $2.18 per loan.

I’m not going to be writing about it, though.

Normally I would write a post about this bit of news but I already wrote this story a couple weeks ago. The March stats for KDP Select look much like the February stats, so anything I said today would feel redundant. Also, everyone (with a few exceptions) is basically rewriting the press release. While I have done that in the past, there are times where it’s just not worth the effort. I’d just be lost in the crowd.
