Pocket Raises $5 Million in Second Funding Round

The save for later service Pocket just secured new capital funding morning.

This Series B funding round was led by Foundation Capital, and included investments from Baseline Ventures and Google Ventures. Pocket’s announced that they plan to use the money to expand their platform.

The company reports that more than 5 million users who have saved over 350 million articles, blog posts, and videos. The Pocket service is integrated into well over 300 apps, including Pulse, Zite, and Flipboard, and even web browsers such as Firefox.
