Amazon has decided to surprise us today. They’ve put the second-gen Kindle Fire on sale in the US and the UK (everywhere?), offering it at a $30, £30, and €30 discount from the regular retail.
Note that this is not the Kindle Fire HD but the slightly less capable Kindle Fire with a lower resolution screen and weaker specs. While I wouldn’t usually recommend this model when it was only $40 less than the KFHD, I would say that today it represents a much better deal.
I’ve found the Kindle Fire on sale on all 3 of the Amazon websites I’ve checked.
Not available for shipping to the Netherlands. So probably only for those countries that have a dedicated amazon shop. So, the .de only ships to Germany, the .co.uk to the UK and the .fr to France.
“Kindle Fire 7″, LCD Display, Wi-Fi, 8 GB cannot be shipped to the selected address.”
Not available for shipping to Canada, either.
I like your government’s policies just as much as you do.
Kobo likes’em just fine. 😉
Chapters, too.
