This Lego Bookshelf Safe Protects Your Small Plastic Knobbly Valuables (video) Geek Gear Hiding a safe inside a book or bookcase is an old trope in stories and an even older one in real life, but here's a new twist on the tale.

One Lego enthusiast by the name of Blake Baer has built a scale model hidden safe entirely from Legos. His project was developed as an entry for the 2013 MOCathalon, and it uses a Lego MindStorm and other Lego components to build not just a secret safe but an animated one.
