App Update Adds Support for Android Wear

Android Wear owners have long been able to use their wrist-born smartphone accessories to control audiobook playback in the OverDrive app, and now they have similar control over the app.

The app for Android was updated this week ith support for Android Wear 2.0. App Update Adds Support for Android Wear Audiobook e-Reading Software


Here's the changelog;


Thanks for using! This update includes new compatibility with Android Wear smartwatches, allowing users to:
  • Launch the app from their smartwatch
  • Listen to any audiobook in their My Books library
  • Access controls for play, pause, forward, rewind and volume
  • Browse select free books and featured samples
  • This update also fixes bug throughout.
