Kindle Paperwhite Now Comes With 6 Months Kindle Unlimited

Amazon just launched a new bundle for its best-selling ereader.

For a limited time, buy a new Kindle Paperwhite and Amazon will include a 6 months subscription to Kindle Unlimited, gratis. (A quick check of Amazon’s sites in the UK and Germany suggest that this is a US-only offer.)

Kindle Unlimited usually costs $10 a month, so as the screen snap says, this bundle saves buyers $60.

That is a good opportunity for new users to sample the service and see whether it’s worth paying for.

My mother does not think so; she can get more than enough ebooks for free in the Kindle Store, so there is no reason for her to pay a monthly subscription.

Thanks, BJ, for the tip!
