Amazon Prime Reading Comes to Austria, Germany

Following a successful US and UK launch, Amazon expanded its teaser reading service to Germany and Austria tody.

Originally launched in October 2016, Prime Reading gives Amazon Prime members access to a changing selection of books, magazines, comics, and more. The cost is bundled into the annual or monthly Amazon Prime subscription, and the supply of content is secured via flat rate payments to authors and publishers.

"With Prime Reading, Amazon Prime has become even better. Members can now access unlimited magazines, comics, and hundreds of books, including bestsellers like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, "says Alessio Santarelli, Amazon’s Kindle Content Director EU. "Prime members will love the selection of books. It ranges from psychothrillers to business titles and up-to-date travel guides to bestseller novels and can now be read on all devices. "

Members can start reading immediately after downloading the Kindle apps for iOS, PC, or Android, or on their Fire tablet or Kindle ereader.
