Amazon Books Stores to Participate in Prime Day

Amazon’s third annual Prime Day is coming up in just a few days, and this time around some of the deals will be available through Amazon’s stores.

An Amazon spokesperson said on Monday that the retailer’s bricks-and-mortar bookstores will participate in Prime Day for the first time this year. Prime Day is scheduled to start at 9pm eastern on 10 July, and last for 30 hours, with deals being announced through 11 July.

But as you may know, the deals have already started, and that includes deals offered through the Amazon Books bookstores. According to the Amazon website, Prime members can get a good price on an XBox  One 1TB bundle from now until next Tuesday when they visit an Amazon books location.

The site is also promising a deal on the Nintendo Switch, but that deal will only be offered on 11 July.

Amazon currently has 8 bookstores open, and five more under development.
