Morning Coffee – 18 July 2017

Morning Coffee - 18 July 2017 Morning Coffee

Here are a few stories to read this morning.

  1. CSS variables are a game changer (Gregor Adams)
  2. The world's libraries tell the W3C that DRM is bad for the web (Boing Boing)
  3. Four things I learned at WordCamp DC (Valiant Chicken)

P.S. In case you were wondering, the new image placement is part of a general redesign of this blog. A few weeks ago a reader commented on the small font sizes in the email newsletter. This inspired me to take a look at how this blog looks on mobile. I was not happy with the way right- or left-aligned images looked, so I'm going to stop using them (mostly).

About Nate Hoffelder (10894 Articles)
Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
