Amazon Launched a Kindle Sale for its Anniversary

It may be hard to believe, but the tenth anniversary of the Kindle is coming up next month on the 19th. Amazon is marking the occasion the same way they celebrate every milestone: they are holding a sale.

Amazon has knocked $30 off the price of the Kindle, Kindle Voyage, and the Kindle Paperwhite. This brings the price of the basic Kindle to under $50.

The sale runs through 25 October.

Amazing when you consider that first clunky Kindle cost $459. I got mine for $409 thanks to a special offer from Oprah Winfrey.
