Can you recommend an alternative to Hootsuite?

For those not familiar with the service, Hootsuite lets you manage multiple social media accounts on several networks, all from a single dashboard. You can schedule posts, check the effectiveness of past messages, etc.

It's quite popular, but I have had to stop using it because I am dissatisfied with its performance and with Hootsuite's customer service (whose job is not so much help customers as mollify them).

So I need a replacement for Hootsuite.

What do you use? Which one do you think is the best?

Thanks!

Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It’s a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog.”

  1. Not sure if it has all the features you need, but maybe take a look at Buffer?

  2. I’d recommend using Agorapulse.
You can monitors ads, set up monitored searches and the reports are awesome (no extra charges for them).

  3. Check out MavSocial http://www.mavsocial.com

  4. Buffer. I have never looked back.

  5. I use Buffer and haven’t had many problems. They have a sister site called evergreen that re-posts whatever you tell it to indefinitely so you don’t have to keep re-schedueling.

  6. At times like this, I usually check out AlternativeTo.net:

    https://alternativeto.net/software/hootsuite/

  7. Statusbrew. Like hootsuite but can auto-recycle content. And the basic package is free.

  8. I’m casting one more vote for Buffer. Love it. And when I’ve needed it, their customer service has been great

  9. Postcron. Have been using it for at least a year now and love it way more than Hootsuite.

  10. I’ve been using Meet Edgar. Works for me.

  11. I love CoSchedule.
