      I don’t know why Canada celebrates a month before the other states.

        well, we celebrate the original thanksgiving. your country created your version of thanksgiving about 1621 in plymouth. whereas the first in north america was in 1578 in baffin island canada. a harvest festival of thanks has been celebrated in europe even earlier. 🙂
