Barnes & Noble is Beta-Testing a New eBook App

Barnes & Noble is Beta-Testing a New eBook App Barnes & Noble Every so often (about twice a year, from what I can tell) B&N issues an invite for the beta-testing group for its mobile apps.

They posted another such invite on Facebook late yesterday.

Join the Barnes & Noble beta program and get early access to our new book discovery experience. Check out what we’re cooking up and help us build something wonderful for readers.

The B&N FB post links to a form on Google Docs where you can apply to join the beta group. The form asks for basic details like your email, type of phone, and the number of books you read each year.

If you would like to become a beta tester, you should go fill out a form. B&N never invites its customers by emailing directly, and will only accept new testers through that Google form.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
